APC’s FanPulse survey group is back for another year and although last year’s results went in the tank as the team stumbled to a 6-9-1 record, the group is feeling much better at this point than it did eight months ago.As of this week’s survey, which came following the Packers’ preseason opener against the Houston Texans, 73 percent of Packers FanPulse members surveyed have a confident view of the team’s direction. That number is pretty steady with other results of surveys from this offseason, however; the number is up just three percent compared to the survey taken after the 2019 NFL Draft (70%) and is only five percent higher than the post-free agency numbers (68%). While the results since free agency additions came in have not moved much, the difference from the end of last season to that period was striking. The coaching change from Mike McCarthy to Matt LaFleur and those free agency additions made these numbers leap all the way up from a depressing 28 percent. Here’s a look at those trends since the end of last year:Meanwhile, this week’s national FanPulse survey question asked which NFL team is most likely to be dethroned as a division champion. The reigning NFC North champion Chicago Bears ranked fourth among the eight options , sitting at about 12.6% of respondents. However the leaders were the Ravens (27.4%), Cowboys (26.5%) and Texans (20.5%), all of whom won their divisions by one game or less in 2018. Unsurprisingly, the New England Patriots had the lowest number of votes at just 1.9%.Stay tuned in the coming weeks for more FanPulse results!<hr class="p-entry-hr" id="oM0zq7">Haven’t signed up for APC’s FanPulse group yet? A pair of teams in the same division that already have double-digit wins will square off this evening as the Kansas City Chiefs host the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chiefs have an impressive winning streak going against their divisional rival, winning each of the last nine games in the series. The Chargers last won back in 2013, when they defeated the Chiefs 27-24 in San Diego. The current streak includes this season’s opener in week one, which saw Patrick Mahomes announce his arrival with an impressive four-touchdown performance.Although the Chargers can pull even with Kansas City on record with a win tonight Bart Starr Jersey , KC would still hold the tiebreaker and would stay in the lead in the division. That is because the season series would be tied 1-1 but the Chiefs would still have a superior division record. The Chargers have already lost twice (once to the Chiefs and once to the Broncos) while KC has not yet lost in the division. If Kansas City wins, that will clinch the AFC West, however. They would be two games up on the Chargers with two games to play, but they would lock up the head-to-head tiebreaker.Join your fellow Packers fans here tonight as we follow along with what is sure to be an excellent game.WHO?Los Angeles Chargers (10-3) vs. Kansas City Chiefs (11-2)WHERE?Arrowhead StadiumKansas City, MissouriWHEN?Thursday, December 13th, 20187:20 PM Central Time (8:20 PM Eastern)HOW?TV BroadcastsFOX & NFL NetworkCommentators: Joe Buck Ray Nitschke Color Rush Jersey , Troy AikmanOnline StreamingFOX Sports GoNFL Network OnlineAmazon PrimeRadio BroadcastWestwood One SportsSirius 81/83, XM 225/226ANYTHING ELSE?OddsChiefs favored by 3.5 pointsOver/under total: 54All-time head-to-head recordRegular season: Chiefs lead 61-54-1Playoffs: Chargers lead 1-0Last meetingWeek 1 2018: Chiefs 38, @Chargers 28Winning streakChiefs won last 9 games
